MSU President got on the waste site to encourage staff!
In April 2016, 11:00, the President of Mahasarakham University, Prof.Dr. Sampan Rittidech, in accompanied with Assistant to the President of Building and Ground, Mahasarakham University, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bopit Buppachot, got on to the Waste Classification Unit, Mahasarakham University to encourage staff who were working at the unit. The waste classification system operated by using a big long belt that carried several types of wastes. This belt facilitated the staff for classifying different types of wastes. The recycle wastes were firstly separated and removed from the belt while other wastes were carried on the belt to the grinding machines. The grinded wastes then were grounded with additional oxygen that gave final outputs as raw fertilizers. Some raw fertilizers then were pressed into pellet fertilizers and were put into the bags. The plastic wastes were compressed and formed as shorten-logs for further usages. The output fertilizers were used for growing plants around the university and some used to be food for earthworms that gave higher nutritious fertilizers for the plants. On the other hand, the recycle wastes were conveyed to the Recycle Waste Bank to be reformed for further usages. In near future, Mahasarakham University has a plan to have a system that completely utilizes and destroys all the wastes in one operating unit. This future plan unit, hopefully, will be the prototype system for waste management that students, staff and people from other institutes who are interested to adopt this system to get uses of their wastes.
